	MESSAGE Lives Are Transformed By the Gospel II Corinthians 5:17 It is not about keeping rules or obeying religious responsibilities. It is about love, obedience to God’s Word, and a growing relationship with God. The new life in Christ is a positional standing and is to result in responsible living.
	DISCIPLES Discipleship is Our Goal Matthew 28:19-20 It first makes converts, individuals who believe the gospel and enter into a personal relationship with Christ. The second thing it does is produce disciples.
	RELEVANCE Ministry Must Be Relevant I Corinthians 9:22 The gospel message must be plain, clear, and simple. We must be diligent to identify our cultural issues in order to present Christ and the message of the Gospel in a relevant way.
	RESPECT People Must Be Treated Gently and Respectfully Galatians 6:2 We must, from a heart of compassion, understand these struggles. By virtue of our call and our commitment we must care about people.
	CARE People Need to Connect John 13:35 God begins the healing process in our lives as we are connected to a community of Christian friends. The church needs to be a place where we can receive love and support and where we can, in turn, give love and support to others.
	PURPOSE Every Christian Has a Ministry I Corinthians 12:7 Every Christian has an area of ministry for which God has gifted and designed them. He desires each Christian to make a difference for eternity.
	EXCELLENCE Everything Must Be Done with Excellence Colossians 3:23-24 We should be actively participating in our Lord’s church and striving to give back to Him our very best in worship and service.
